Control What You Can. Let Go Of The Rest.

When I was growing up I heard a saying, that the word "can't" meant: Certainty Am Not Trying.

As I got older, and have been blessed to work with thousands of people via classes, seminars, online or one on one, I realize that most of us really are trying. And the maybe the problem.

What do I mean? "Do or do not, there is no try" (click to watch video)

Trying doesn't exist, what ends up happening when we try is, usually, nothing. At least nothing we desire. When we try to control everything we end up controlling nothing - in particular the few things that we actually can control.

When it comes to building the body you desire and deserve, know that you can't control everything - sometimes people we take care of require unscheduled care, sometimes work requires us to stay late, sometimes we ourselves fall ill. Some of these things we've no control of. In fact, most things we've no control of. But we do have control over a few things.

What we can control is what we eat, what thoughts and goals we choose to focus on and what we habitually do.

Take control of the things you can control - what you eat, what you focus on and what you do - and trade excuses for results.
