About Mark Sparks

Mark Sparks is a Conditioning Specialist, Neurolinguistics PractitionerPersonal Trainer and Certified Hope Dealer with over 15 years of experience. He began his fitness career working at a high end training gym before moving to a big box style gym and climbing the ranks through his continuing education and habitual execution of helping clients to transform their bodies and their lives.

Mark eventually moved to a smaller, more intimate training studio where he began S.P.A.R.K.S Conditioning training people in both Toronto and Ottawa. He then opened up a remote training facility where he took on clients in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and The West Indies. His online business has continued to grow without sacrificing the personal attention and detail that has kept S.P.A.R.K.S Conditioning in business since 2003.

 

As a former national championCalvin Klein Man of Steel and Mr. Caribbean International - an award he was flown to the West Indies to compete for with 4 days notice - Mark knows how to build a strong and fit physique and the importance of sustaining a fit and healthy physique and mentality. He does so, and teaches his clients to do the same by instituting a sustainable set of habits into their habitual behaviour. 

 

Working out is bigger than aesthetics and Mark understands that building the body you desire & deserve has benefits that far outweigh looking good, which is why he studied and became a certified practitioner of NLP - neurolinguistics - to help people decipher the habits that do not serve them and then  create new habits that do serve them towards achieving their goals.

Mark studied Fitness and Health in College before moving onto study NLP and acting.
As an athlete who suffered two potentially career ending injuries, Mark learned the importance of self belief, hard & smart work and the power of having a strong & dedicated team.
