Day Five.

Good morning and welcome to Day Five the 30 day challenge!


Today is going to be an active recovery day. The task will be to travel a distance either walking, running or a combination of the two for 20 minutes. 

Here's the catch - you will use this mapping tool (click here) to calculate the distance you travel in 20 minutes.

Before you head out - whether walking or running or a combination of the two, get your body warm before you head out.

 

Warm Up

 

Complete 2 rounds of 2mins skipping with your "rope" with 90 seconds of rest in between each round of skipping used to stretch or swing out your muscles.

 

A quick note - if you are not a habitual walker/runner, you may want to create a loop around your starting point so that you don't end up too far from where you start (instead of simply traveling in one direction for 10 minutes and then traveling back).

 

Remember, every step counts. And today, we are literally going to count every step!
